I am a nature photographer from the Arctic Circle in Finland, a retired doctor. I have travelled with the Red Cross and Médecins Sans Frontières organisations in many countries, and now that I have retired, I have continued to travel under nature photography conditions in Finland and abroad on all continents.
I photograph nature in many ways, but I am especially fascinated by photographing animals, especially mammals. I aim for the atmosphere I experience in my photographs and preferably the feeling of some kind of interaction with the animal.
